How does CBD work in my body?

CBD works by interacting with the EndoCannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS spans throughout the body and plays a key role in various bodily functions. For example, the ECS impacts inflammation, metabolism, and immune system response, along with appetite stimulation and even how the body responds to pain. When ingested, CBD reacts with the endocannabinoid system, mainly the CB1 and CB2 receptors. It promotes healthy responses to pain, stress, and inflammation. In turn, this means less pain, less inflammation, lowered stress levels, and other whole-body benefits.

What is the EndoCannabinoid System (ECS)?

The endocannabinoid system is an active and complex cell signalling network. It involves a combination of endocannabinoids, enzymes, and cannabinoid receptors that help regulate several functions in the human body. The ECS plays a key role in various bodily functions. For example, the ECS impacts inflammation, metabolism, and immune system response, along with appetite stimulation and even how the body responds to pain.
